President’s Award Vocal Scholarship
MI College of Contemporary Music, California has announced the President’s Award Vocal Scholarship 2021 Online Application forms for international and US students studying in AA or BM Vocal Programs. What is the Eligibility Criteria?
- International and U.S. citizens are eligible.
- Only available for Associate of Arts in Performance (AA Vocal) Program, or Bachelor of Music in Performance (BM Vocal) Program.
- Newly enrolled and current/returning students in any MI program are eligible.
- Candidates must have a Letter of Acceptance into one of the above program.
- Previous scholarship winners are not eligible to apply.
What is the Scholarship Award?
The total scholarship reward is $1,000 credited towards the fees of the first quarter of the program.
What is the Selection Process?
As with all the scholarships, the department will select the candidate on the basis of eligibility criteria and the quality of the song performances submitted as part of the application.
You are required to submit the following as part of your application:
- Your Youtube video URL with you performing at least three songs in any genre.
- Live ensemble performances.
- Unaccompanied solo piece.

- You will land on the “President’s Award Vocal Scholarship” page.
- Click on “Apply Now” button.
- Select the scholarship you want to apply for and click “next”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your details such as enrollment info and student info.
- Upload the required documents and video URL to the portal.
- Submit the application to complete the application process.
