The Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is a scholarship program announced by the central government for raising the education standard of the students of Minority Community. This scholarship aims to provide financial support for vocational and technical courses.
The Government of India offers 60,000 scholarships to undergraduate or postgraduate level under the MOMA (Ministry of Minority affairs) scheme for students aspiring to take admission in professional and technical courses.
Applications are invited every year from September to November by the Central Government for MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP for Minority students.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?
- Annual Family income must be less than Rs 2.5 lacs.
- At least 50% marks in last qualifying exam at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
What is the Scholarship Award ?
Course Fee – Rs. 20,000 per year
Maintenance Allowance – Rs 1,000 per month
How to Apply Online for MCM Scholarship 2021
- Please log in to the official website of the scholarship. You can find the link for scholarship pages above.
- Please register for a free account on the portal.
- Fill in the website Registration Form carefully.
- You will then get a unique ID and password.
- You can now log in and start to fill the Online Application Form.
- Follow the instructions to fill the Scholarship Application Form. Different scholarships have different instructions. You can find the instruction on respective page.
- Submit your scholarship form and take a print copy for your records.
